Pedro Hespanha - Task #4, Olaf Breuning

  1. the way you can see the eyes in the second one is great.. i would maybe burn the shadows around the figure to give it more depth

  2. I found the third one VERY striking, perhaps i wasn't expecting such a stare - its pretty eerie in comparison to the others, and i really like that quality. Also because she is a little harder to find in this image, where as the shadows were a giveaway in the others. Really great. I'm not sure I like the dark gradients on the other ones though, try lightening them up in Lightroom with a shadows gradient (if they weren't added in post).

  3. i wrote bunch of things in the comment but i wasn't logged in and lost everything. so i agree with Erin, i really like the 3rd image, its not obvious where the subject is, my eyes trip out because of the angle you shot this photograph. very mysterious and trippy.

  4. This is a really different and interesting take on Olaf Breuning's work, I really like it. The third image is vert striking but I also like the bottom two. If you lightened up the top portion so they were more uniformly lit I think they'd be more successful.
