Eric Watters - Task 5
I like Jessica Labatte. I was really captured by her photos of piles of stuff and she made it so beautiful. She literally saw the light and beauty in such simple things. I also really loved her shadow work, her use of bright colours and the use of straight lines.
For this shot, I wanted to create a soft image with warm colours. I wanted the shadows to be tinted the certain colours of the image and I wanted it to look simple. I think I've created an image that met my standards.
I realize that this photo isn't in the obvious style of Labatte in any sense, but this is what I was inspired to do after taking a look at her work. I hope you guys like it!
