(RESHOOT) Amir Farokhpour - Task 1 & 2

Task 1

I think this photo better portrays Struth's style of shooting when it gets to portraits. He barely uses flash, something i used for my first photo but then decided it was too studio like and decided to go with a more natural type of shoot with more emotion.

Task 2

I decided to re-shoot for task #2. I think this photo gives a better sense of being stranded compared to the other image of the girl hitchhiking.

Amirhassan Farokhpour - Task #5

These series i shot was inspired by Jessica Labatte's work and her use of paint and colors which indeed makes her pictures stand out. These series wouldn't have the same feeling without the paint, it would simply be shot of someone's back. The bottom photos are the same photos with different edits. The first one is a different photo. I personally prefer the first one. Any thoughts?

Amirhassan Farokhpour - Task #4

What i noticed in Olaf's work is his sense of humor in some of his shots with a touch of craziness and thats what i tried to do here with this shoot.

Amir Farokhpour - Task #3

What i really like about Alex Prager's work is how her photos are somehow mysterious. Her photos look odd and i really enjoy that about her work. Since most of her photos is staged i tried doing the same; something different from what i usually do. Any thoughts?

Amir Farokhpour - Task #2

These photos are inspired by Amy's stranded series. In her stranded series, Amy's subjects seem tense and vulnerable as she mentions in one of her interviews. I basically tried to show these emotions but in a different way. I was trying to show a sense of helplessness in my photos. I have uploaded three photos from the set. Any thoughts? Which edit looks better?

Amir Farokhpour - Task #1

I really enjoy Struth's family portraits so i decided to do a portrait for this task. In most of his family portrait shots, the people posing have a unique expression, i could barely find any shots with people smiling. Most of the models have a strong, deep facial expressions which i tried to achieve when doing this task. I will probably redo this task, I originally had a different idea but couldn't make it happen before the due date.
