My photo was inspired by Amy Stein's "Stranded" series. I decided to portray the idea of being stranded in a big city. Therefore I went to Union station, when it was most quiet, and captured this image. Also, I took the opportunity to use this display board to my advantage by showing that this person was "stranded" in Toronto.
Good idea, and that worked out well with the cancellations. Maybe try cropping closer? Good work with the camera perspective and otherwise!

I really like how the idea translates into the photo, as well as the composition. I actually like the wide crop because it shows the vast emptiness of the station and how the character feels alone. Maybe brighten up your shadows a little, and make the image a bit less yellow/orange. i really like this and i think it would translate nicely into a series or typology.

I agree, the wide crop works, adding to the sense of being alone and stranded. Awesome idea :)
