Most of Amy Stein's work consist of series which inspired me to make my own series of a walking man. Using the environment to frame the subject, I captured a mysterious man travelling under a bridge.
All of the photo's are taken separately and I stitched them together in photoshop.
I thought that the photo's were equally appealing separate as they were together.
JPEG and the constant downsizing really ruined the quality of the images :(

I think you captured a really nice moment. I especially love when they're stitched together, its like a film strip almost. The cropping is really nice as well. Maybe inside the arches in the middle you could brighten it up a little, so the focus is even more directly on the figure. It could even make for an interesting diptych, with the two most interesting poses (when he's in mid-stride, and when he's looking at the camera), but that's just a thought!

I agree with Erin! That seems like a good idea. What a beautiful photo, Anthony. The details in the concrete are wonderful. Great work!

I love these photos, they remind me of an old Hitchcock movie or something! Good work :)

ReplyDeleteWhy didn't you turn these into TIFFS right away before processing them? Also, don't forget that these must be newly shot images....I'm looking at metadata. Doesn't make sense that you didn't shoot RAW files.
